iGB Affiliate London 2022 welcomes Double Up Media back with open arms

After a two-year delay, the Double Up Media team returned to iGB London with a bang! The event not only connects affiliates and operators together but builds long-term relationships allowing everybody to become a frontrunner in the ever-changing iGaming industry.

Originally scheduled in early February, iGB London was quickly re-arranged due to the ongoing pandemic to April 2022. Thankfully, the event managed to run smoothly from 13th to 14th April 2022 with over 5,000 attendees and over 200 exhibitors.

The event was held at London’s ExCel Arena alongside ICE London which ran from 11th until 14th April 2022. iGB London is the iGaming industry's number 1 networking and intelligence event showcasing leading conferences from experts within affiliate marketing as well as exhibitors, networking events and the iGB Affiliate Awards.

Exchanging ideas with seminars

Each day at iGB London was filled with insightful seminars and conferences from the biggest names within the industry. Both Michael Caselli, the Non-Executive Chairman of Clarion Events, and Stephen Carter, Editorial Director of iGB Affiliate, opened each day with welcoming remarks explaining to the attendees what to expect.

The stand-out seminars included:

  • World Cup 2022 SEO Special from Justin Deaville - the Managing Director of Receptional.
  • Make search engine notes love your affiliate site from Fili Wiese - former Google engineer and SEO Expert at Search Brothers.
  • Metaverse and NFTS: Future or Bubble featuring a panel of experts such as Julian Buhagiar - Co-Founder of RB Capital.
  • Branding and design for social media success from Steve Lee - Creative Director at Digital Footprints.

These events provide great insight for the team at Double Up Media as we continue to bring great new features to flagship site NoWagering.com and the latest site SlotGods.co.uk.

Networking with operators and other affiliates

The conference served as a tremendous opportunity to meet new operators and continue to build strong relationships with existing operators. It all started with the L&L Europe Ltd opening party at the Dickens Inn in Central London which saw the team take on a variety of players in a friendly game of table football with some complimentary drinks.

iGB London provided a wonderful platform to meet up with representatives of affiliate programs and casinos such as PlayOJO, Casumo, Energy Casino, Heart Bingo and William Hill. This was the perfect opportunity for newer employees to meet partners and learn more about the industry in person.

Of course, it wasn’t all work and no play. Throughout the rest of the week, the team enjoyed delicious Italian food at Satyrio Restaurant, the finest steak in Gaucho City, Pizza at the streek market on Brick Lane and champagne at London’s highest public garden with the Sky Garden.

A memorable experience for the team

The iGB Affiliate London conference proved to be an incredible experience for returning and new team members at Double Up Media. Despite only being two years since the last attendance at iGB Affiliate London, Double Up Media has continued to thrive with existing brands such as LuckyGameShows.com as well as with new projects as well.

It was valuable for the team to gain a full insight into the scope of the industry and know what to expect for next year. Hopefully, iGB Affiliate London 2023 will be even bigger than ever and provide even more success for the team.

“We thoroughly enjoyed a week of great catchups, networking and informative discussions,” said Pavlos Sideris, Director at Double Up Media. “It’s always a pleasure to attend iGB affiliate events and it was the perfect opportunity to bring the entire team together. We cannot wait to go back next year.”
